Ron Scherl (the highlights)
A professional photographer since 1973, Ron has worked in editorial and commercial photography for a wide range of clients including Time, Newsweek, Fortune, Forbes, The New York Times and many other publications, covering news events and making portraits of famous people. He spent a lot of time in theaters and opera houses making actors and singers look good and documenting productions. He also founded a stock photography agency, was early into digital imaging and bought an interest in a house in the south of France. Recently, he has worked in the medical field, developing protocols to photograph the results of a variety of aesthetic procedures. He travels widely, lecturing at industry conferences and instructing physicians on photographic principles and techniques. From 2009-2011, Ron was employed by the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, working in digital imaging and color management of images of the collection.
